5 Tips for Healthier Life
I am sure this is nothing that you have not heard before but these are my five simple tips for a healthier life:
Drink more water, water flushes toxins from the body and is good to keep the body naturally hydrated. Starting the day with a warm cup of water with lemon will ease you into the day nicely. Over 60% of our body is made up of water and while we flush water out our system in various ways it is important to replenish our intake for hydration as well as other functions such as carrying nutrients around the body.
Get more sleep, rest is an important function of our daily tasks but due to current environments such as work, T.V. and mobile phones out body does not get enough restful sleep everyday.
Do more exercise, moving the body more provides the body with more energy i.e. energy creates energy. Getting more exercise into the body uses up the excess fat so not adding extra weight to the body, keeping the heart and lungs healthy.
STOP Smoking, I think this should go without saying but it is an addiction and one of the hardest to break. Smoking is detrimental to your health, causing damage to lungs, kidney and heart. Aim to quit.
Eat more Fruit & Veg, they are rich source of nutrients and can really benefit gut health, strengthen the immune system. The more variety the better for you, leafy green vegetables are a great source of iron.
